  • Society Digital Collections

It’s been a huge undertaking to digitize and index the thousands of records that the Society has amassed over the years for inclusion in our database. The following resources are not in the database, but are viewable here as PDF files.

Use the Google search bar below to search all PDF documents on the SBGEN website.

    City Directories

In addition to the digitized directories below, the Sahyun Genealogical Library has on its shelves printed directories from 1886 through 1991 which cover many of the same cities plus Santa Maria and Lompoc. Search the Sahyun Genealogical Library Catalog for “Santa Barbara City Directories” for more city directories.

    Professional Directories

This a small sampling of the many directories that are available for viewing at the Sahyun Genealogical Library on the network drive under Digital Collections.
