Domenic DEZZUTTI (1882-1963) was born on May 25, 1882 in Rivaloro, Canavese, Italy to parents Giovanni and Margaret Grivetto Dezzutti. He immigrated in 1905 and was admitted for naturalization on September 6, 1913 in Santa Barbara. 

At age 26, Dezzutti married 18-year-old Josephine “Jeanette” E. Jordano (1891-1917) on December 20, 1908 in Santa Barbara. They lived at 520 E. De La Guerra St., Santa Barbara. They had two daughters, Margaret Ann Dezzutti (1909-1986) and Josephine Dezzutti (1913-2018.

Between 1918 and 1920, Dezzutti worked on Santa Cruz Island.

By 1928, Dezzutti was working for the Jordano Brothers in the grocery business. He joined the original Jordanos store and worked as a clerk and delivered groceries with a horse and wagon. According to his obituary, he drove the first motor vehicle the Jordanos ever owned. Dezutti was also a caretaker at the Santa Barbara Junior High School. He retired in 1952 from the Santa Barbara School District. By 1930, Dezzutti had remarried; his wife's name was Teresa Arondelli (1887-1968). Teresa was born on July 14, 1887 in Turino, Italy to parents Dominic Arondelli and Teresa Fererro. She died on November 17, 1968 in Santa Barbara. 

Dezzutti died March 15, 1963 in Santa Barbara, California.
