Angelo M. Bottini was born on April 22, 1880 in Milan, in the Province of Bologna, Italy. He immigrated at age 3 with his parents, Ambrogio and Giovanna Miratti Bottini, through New York arriving in Santa Barbara in 1892. He was naturalized in Santa Barbara County on September 5, 1905.
For 50 years he was the superintendent of the Stow Ranch. He died November 6, 1961 and is buried at Calvary Cemetery.
He had three brothers, Frank, Henry and Martin and one sister, Mary Dardi.
