In honor of October being Family History Month, the Santa Barbara Genealogical Society has built a captivating and educational display at the Goleta Public Library continue

Many thanks to the eleven volunteers who worked at the SBCGS table at Stow House. Jan Cloud, Cathie Jordan, Debbie Kaska, Sue Ramsey, Cheryl White, Chuck White, Charmien Carrier, Maryann Schaack, Marj Friestad, Jim Friestad, and Cari Thomas helped dozens of people get a kick start on their genealogy.
In the news this month, October 2013, is the outstanding display in the Main Branch of the Santa Barbara Public Library. It promotes Family History Month, SBCGS, and the Sahyun Library. Many thanks to Cathy Jordan, Debbie Kaska, and Cari Thomas for gathering the materials, creating the design, and displaying it so beautifully.
